FAQ
How long will my fresh flowers last and how do I look after them?
There’s a few varying factors to this, how you look after them once they arrive to you is important.
Once you receive a bunch from us, it’s vital that you re-cut the stems and pop them in fresh water asap in a clean vase and use the flower food provided. The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last. Keep away from any direct heat sources (We know they look cool on your fancy fireplace but as soon as you get the fire on, it’s not doing bits for your blooms.)
Much different to their plant friends, flowers don’t enjoy direct sunlight, this will zap life out them so try and avoid this where possible.
We recommend changing the water every 2-3 days to get the most out of your flowers. The other varying factor is a flowers natural vase life, certain varieties go on for longer, with hardier flowers lasting up to 7-10 days and blousier flowers up to 5 days.
How long will my dried flowers last?
Dried flowers don’t need a water source and can last up to 2+years, just give them a little dust every now and then! Keep them in a dry spot away from humidity. If you receive a bunch with vibrant flowers, keep them out of direct sun as the light will fade the colours faster. Apart from that, they’re pretty maintenance free!
